This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at www.simplyregister.net (the "Site"), which is operated by or for SimplyRegister, Inc. ("SimplyRegister," "we," "our," or "us"). SimplyRegister is an online event registration service.
By using the Site, you signify your agreement to all of the terms of our Privacy Policy. Please also read our Terms of Use. Our Terms of Use are hereby incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set forth herein, you should exit the Site immediately.
PRIVACY PLEDGE
SimplyRegister helps you register for events. Period. It's very simple; you're registering for an event, so we register you for that event and provide your information to event management. That's it!
If you haven't already noticed (though we hope you have), we don't sell banner advertisements on our Site, and we don't otherwise try to "up-sell" you while you're registering for your event. Similarly, we don't sell customer lists to third parties. In fact, we don't give out any of your personal information to anyone but event management and your team's managers/coaches (if applicable). We also will not send you any promotional e-mails. We hate spam, telemarketing, and junk mail and assume you do, too.
We offer event managers the option of publishing a list of registrants for their events. If your event chooses to use this feature, your name and other information (such as team affiliation, hometown, registration status, etc.) will be shown on a page listing all registrants for that event.
We occasionally will report aggregate numbers (such as "the ABC Road Race had 1,200 registrants" or "52% of the ABC Road Race's registrants were female"). However, no personally identifying information will be revealed in such scenarios.
In rare cases, we also will share your information to prevent fraud, to respond to legal processes, or as otherwise required or allowed by law.

When you set up an Event, or when you register to participate in an Event, we may request additional information, such as your credit card number. Your credit card number is only used to process payment involved with setting up an Event, registering for an Event or purchasing a related product or service. Depending on the preferences selected by Event Management, your payment may be processed by SimplyRegister or by Event Management. Additionally, if you request that we retrieve your results, we may use your information to query a third-party results database.
Many websites use cookies to track user information. Our registration system does not require cookies, and we do not set any cookies on your computer.

SimplyRegister has no control over the privacy practices of Event Management, and you acknowledge that we are not responsible, nor do we make any representations or warranties regarding, the privacy practices of Event Management. SimplyRegister is not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you or third parties as a result of any of Event Management's privacy practices or lack thereof. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SimplyRegister from all liabilities, claims and expenses (including legal fees) that arise from or are related to the abuse, misuse, or disclosure of your information by Event Management or third parties over whom SimplyRegister has no control.
While SimplyRegister does not send unsolicited or unwanted communications, SimplyRegister assumes no responsibility for the use of your information after it has left SimplyRegister's control. Since your information must be shared with Event Management to complete the registration process, you may receive such communications from Event Management or third parties to whom Event Management provides your information.
We will not share your personal information with unrelated third parties, but, as noted above, we must share certain information with Event Management and, if applicable, other third parties related to an event, such as team managers, coaches, results databases and payment processors. By submitting your information to us, you acknowledge that we may share it in any way necessary for us to provide our services.
Your personal information may be transferred to third parties without notice to you in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, and protect our rights or the rights of other users of the Site.
We use reasonable measures to protect your personally identifiable information and provide a secure Site. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the security of this information. SimplyRegister has no control over the Internet and third party networks, and there is no guarantee of absolute security of information that is transmitted or accessible via the Internet. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of the Site at any time. SimplyRegister cannot and does not warrant that any transmission will not be monitored or read by third parties.
In the event that SimplyRegister sells all or a portion of its business, we may transfer your personally identifiable information as a part of the sale so that the products and/or services being provided to you may continue, or for other business purposes.
